To say that I am excited and energized to join Alameda Unified School District is an understatement. Alameda is well known for its first-rate schools, strong community engagement, and dedicated staff. I look forward to continuing the commitment to excellence and equity for all and building on the work we are doing.
Principal's Message - Spring 2009
Alameda Adult School staff and students welcome Kirsten Vital as the new Superintendent of Alameda Unified School District! Ms. Vital comes to us with years of educational leadership experience in southern California and most recently in Oakland. We are proud to have her onboard and look forward to working with her as she guides our district.
New Classes for Spring 2009
In addition to our customary selection of fun and informational course offerings, Alameda Adult School is offering the following exciting new classes for your leisure and learning experience!
Band and Chorus Concerts for Fall
The Alameda Adult School Band will hold its Winter Concert on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 7:30 PM at the Kofman Auditorium for FREE! The Spring Band Concert will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2009, also at the Kofman Auditorium at 7:30 PM for FREE.
On Monday, May 18, 2009 at 7:30 PM, the Alameda Adult School Chorus will perform its Spring Concert at the Kofman Auditorium for FREE.
